Our Story
The Second Generation of a Family of Builders
We grew up on jobsites. Our father earned his general contractor’s license on June 23, 1983, and we spent our childhood around his projects, watching how a home goes from concept to reality. That’s where we learned the trade, and where we learned that the work you can’t see matters as much as the work you can.
D3VCON is our company, the second generation of a family of builders. Michael brings a lifetime of experience, including the past six years specializing in ultra-luxury homes and custom residences while working alongside our father at KMR Construction. Kyle brings more than a decade on the owner’s side of the table, making sure clients get real value and real accountability. Together we see every project the way both the builder and the owner do.
More than 40 years later, our father, Kevin Rafferty, still owns and operates KMR Construction under the same license he received in 1983. Now the two of us are building D3VCON, carrying what he taught us into the next generation.

Michael is a seasoned construction expert and second-generation builder with a lifetime of experience in the industry. For the past six years, he has specialized in crafting ultra-luxury spec homes and custom residences for discerning clients.
This hands-on experience, paired with a legacy of building know-how, gives him unique insight and a distinct edge in understanding what it takes to bring a high-end vision to life. With an unwavering attention to detail, Michael thrives on delivering perfection, making him a natural fit for the world of luxury homebuilding.
KYLE RAFFERTY
Co-Founder
Kyle brings over a decade of experience in the construction industry, gained at his father’s general contracting company, KMR Construction. As an owner’s representative, he focused on delivering what matters most to clients: value.
By clearly understanding each client’s goals from the outset, Kyle was able to make informed decisions on their behalf, reducing unnecessary time demands on the client and keeping projects moving efficiently. His approach also emphasized minimizing liability and keeping ownership and the construction team aligned and accountable.
